Wedding Pets!

I came across this interesting article, and had to share it with you all.  Apparently some people's pets are VERY important to them.

This article has some great suggestions, such as-- "...if you have a small pet the bride could carry the pet down the aisle.  Small animals such as hamsters, a bird, snake or rabbit could be placed in a cage nearby as the bride and groom exchange vows." If the bride is walking down the aisle with the pet, I thought the groom would have to kiss the hamster too, but I guess not.
Can't you just picture me walking down the aisle with a snake?  That would be so, so...romantic, don't you think?
"Some brides and grooms choose to use their dogs as bridesmaids or groomsmen" Really?! How would you like to get paired with a dog to walk up the aisle with, girls.  His tie would match your bridesmaid dress.  You'd have to hold his leash instead of his arm though.

Precious, isn't she?

"It's a big day for you and your pet; show them how special they are by buying or baking a homemade treat.  Making a homemade dog cake or cupcakes makes them feel special!" (hmmm)
"Including your pet in your wedding day will take a lot of extra planning. But involving your pet in your special day shows the commitment, love & bonding friendship they share as a family member!"

Sorry, but I could never take my pet this seriously.
